With so many options for advancing your clinical and professional skills, it can be hard to determine the best route to take. Our experienced panel of speakers will discuss their career trajectories post-graduation, including participation in various advanced dental education programs. Additional topics will include the importance and value of membership in various dental professional associations, local study clubs and personal mentors throughout their careers.

Dr. Shivali Gohel-Garg
Dr. Shivali Gohel is a Board-Certified periodontist practicing in the Clairemont area of San Diego. She was also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Graduate Periodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry where she obtained her certificate in periodontics and a Master’s of Science in Dentistry. She attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society upon graduation. Dr. Gohel practices both traditional and laser periodontal therapy as well as regenerative procedures for ideal implant placement.
Dr. Jeff Gray
Dr. Jeff Gray is an accomplished dentist with a rich and diverse background in the field of dentistry. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1982 and completed his dental education at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Gray’s commitment to excellence in dentistry is evident through his extensive involvement with the KOIS Center, where he has served as a Mentor, Clinical Instructor, and Board of Director. He has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Top Sedation Dentist Award from D.O.C.S. in 2011 and the prestigious 2023 San Diego Magazine’s BEST Cosmetic Dentist recognition. Dr. Gray’s expertise extends to complex restorative, implant, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation. His passion for philanthropy is exemplified by his creation of the Smiles For Life Foundation in 1998, which has raised over $50 million for children’s charities worldwide. Additionally, Dr. Gray has been featured on major television networks and consistently recognized as one of the “Best Dentists in America” by his peers. His contributions to the dental community, including his lectures and affiliations with organizations such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Crown Council, highlight his dedication to advancing dental care.
Dr. Dave De Rosier
