Course Speaker: Megan Shelton, DMD
As a leader, dentist, CEO, and smile makeover expert, Dr. Megan Shelton has a ton of passion for the field of dentistry. She is well known for her compassion, integrity, and extensive clinical and business education.
At a young age, Dr. Shelton found dentistry to be an ideal fit to allow her to work with her hands, continue to investigate science based medicine, and pursue business and entrepreneurial development. Oral healthcare was the perfect opportunity to align her analytical and creative brains. Dr. Shelton’s specific focus on cosmetic dentistry and extensive training of Invisalign has allowed her to become the ideal clinician for patients and a trainer for doctors who seek responsible esthetics (save the enamel). She is now training other dentists to maximize their clinical skills and capitalize on their business opportunities, through her private consulting firm. Dr. Shelton is a graduate and mentor of the Kois Center, participating member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, board member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and is a published author in multiple dental publications, including The Compendium.
Dr. Shelton is now practicing part time in Carlsbad, and consulting full time across the nation with her own company, Shelton Solutions.. Her experience and passion in the field of dentistry has given her the ability to impact the lives
of other dentists. She has helped them to find their inner leader and implement systems for successful private practice.
When not practicing dentistry or coaching, you can find Dr. Shelton traveling to continuing education. She also enjoys hiking with her husband, Nick, and golden retriever, Cali. She spends many days in the air traveling to connect with her friends and family. Regardless of what Dr. Shelton is doing, she has it in her DNA to always try her best and live up to the opportunity
