Description This fast paced, entertaining program is designed to familiarize the participant with the basic elements of an OSHA safety program while meeting the annual bloodborne pathogen, hazard communication, and aerosols transmissible disease training requirements. Engaging hands on activities promote a safety culture and reduce risks. Take home tools include: checklist for conducting a mock OSHA inspection, sample exposure incident plan, and other helpful resources to help you work safely and confidently. Objectives Target Audience: Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Practice Administrators, Office Managers, Sterilization Technicians, and Lab Technicians Leslie Canham, CDA, RDA, is Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control and Authorized as an OSHA Outreach Trainer. As a Certified Speaking Professional, she lectures nationally and internationally. Because of Leslie’s expertise, she is frequently called upon to investigate breaches in infection control by governmental agencies and the private sector. Leslie is considered an expert witness for legal cases where dental infection control is called into question. Leslie is the founder of Leslie Canham & Associates, LLC, a successful dental consultancy providing in-office training, audits, mock-inspections, consulting, training videos, home study CE courses, and live Webinars.
