Well-established, privately owned pediatric dental practice in central San Diego is seeking a San Diego-based Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon interested in providing in-office surgical services on a part-time basis.
Our practice has served the San Diego community for nearly 20 years and maintains a large, established pediatric and adolescent patient base. We are looking to expand our services by offering third-molar extractions for teenage and young adult patients, along with surgical extractions for younger pediatric patients when appropriate.
This is an opportunity for an OMS looking to supplement an existing practice with an established source of patients, without the need to build a separate referral base.
Opportunity Details:
-Initially approximately 1 day per month, with the potential to increase based on patient demand.
-Flexible scheduling, with Fridays readily available.
-Established patient base with internal demand for third-molar extractions and other surgical procedures.
-Private, non-DSO practice with an experienced clinical and administrative team.
-Fully equipped dental operatories, with scheduling, patient coordination, billing, and administrative support provided.
-Compensation structure negotiable based on experience and arrangement.
Ideal Candidate:
We are particularly interested in an established San Diego-area OMS that can provide appropriate postoperative follow-up, including in-person evaluations when necessary.
The surgeon should be comfortable performing third-molar extractions and other appropriate oral surgical procedures in an office-based setting, including IV sedation when indicated and properly permitted.
Our goal is to establish a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship that allows our patients to receive surgical care in a familiar environment while maintaining continuity of care throughout the postoperative period.
